ARVAN MOUNTAIN OFFICE

The mountain office is a group of Mid-Mountain Guides who guide you on the trails of Fontcouverte La Toussuire to discover our natural environment.
The guide is first and foremost an educator who makes you aware of the activity of walking, by adapting his practice to your physical abilities and by advising you on how to improve your practice to be more comfortable and take more pleasure in it.
He is then an initiator who gives you keys to understanding the environment around you. He does it in a practical way, in a fun way, by sharing his knowledge of the fauna, the flora and his culture of the mountain environment where he was often born and which he has been exploring in a sporty way for a very long time.
By taking charge of a group, he ensures its safety (weather, progress, navigation, first aid).

Hiking with a Mid-Mountain Guide is the assurance of learning, having fun, understanding and improving.

A hiking program is planned during the summer school holidays but you can contact the Mountain Office throughout the year if you wish to be accompanied during an outing.

The program is available at the Tourist Office from the beginning of the season. Registrations take place at the Tourist Office, limited number of places.

The Mid-Mountain Guide holds a state diploma in mountaineering - Mid-Mountain Guide.

For your hikes, remember to bring the necessary equipment: Small backpack, water, (snack for children), closed shoes, windbreaker, hat, sunglasses.
